to prevent all viruses in limewire from affecting my computer and giving it problems. i want to know the best protection from EVERY virus, so absolutely nothing gets through, since there are important files and info on my computer

The truth is, nothing. Limewire is great for music, but even an expensive virus protection program can't stop it. I love limewire, or should say loved. I had limewire on my old computer. I got such a major virus I had to get a new computer! If you want to keep your computer I suggest you uninstall it right away (it's okay to keep the songs though) and get a new music downloading program. (examples: "Imesh" "bitcomet" and there are plenty more avaliable at download.com and on Google)

Its a pretty easy question to answer, just think how mainly ALL Viruses are located.You don't even need software to protect yourself all you need is the knowledge.

All viruses are located in .exe, programs and some suspicious videos, just make it an effort to not download anything other then music from limewire since viruses can't affect those mp3, .wav files.
