Songs would be saved as files unable to be played in regular cd players. Assuming also you have no problems backing them up. (no copy protections.) This question is about the law as it is, not what is possible with our software. Thanks!

I am taking a computer class in college right now and we just got done this subject. According to the law if you have purchased the misic and you want to back it up for personal use you can. What you can not do with that cd is use it for anything other than personal use then it illegal. Hope this helps.
