I need to buy a flash drive for classes and work purposes and I am thinking 1GB or 2GB, maybe 4GB. Since I will be using it on any computer available around the campus and in the work office, I need a flash drive that comes with some kind of threat protection or anti-virus.
My biggest concern is to not to bring any virus to the company's computer!
I did a fast research on the web and the flash drives most consistent in my view were: SanDisk Cruzer Titanium 2GB, Memorex Mini TravelDrive U3 1GB (comes with U3 Anti-Virus Powered by McAfee) and Verbatim Store n Go U3 Smart Drive 1GB.
Your thoughts about these flash drives or any other suggestion?
Thank you

You could use a U3 device, or get ClamWin portable for you usb, a little chaeper and works with any USB. You may want to check out some other portable apps too.

Yes, CA makes one. You can get it at Tigerdirect.com, free after rebate.
flash or thumb drives are just storage disks. for virus protection, you must have a operating system and software installed.
well there shouldn't be any virus on your flash drive unless you have a infected computer. so what i am saying its that you don't need any ''anti virus flash drive'' ( no such thing BTW , i think its just a virus scan that you can't update + auto starts when you plug it in ) your best bet is to scan the files on the flash drive when you plug it in.
For the size i would just suggest the smallest, i am guessing its just for word documents. 512 megs holds 1000+ Microsoft word files.
If you have a virus scanner on the computer then you can just scan the drive with that before you unload any files onto your C drive. The only benefit of having virus protection on the flash drive its self is that you will defanitly have a virus scanner everywhere you take it.
