Is it possible to improve customer protection regarding the ';Do Not Call'; list?

We signed on the ''Do Not Call'' list, yet we still get calls offering us loans and services we do not want. When told of our ''Do Not Call'' listing, the callers claim they got our number from a randomly selected, computer generated list.

I did some honest checking on this and came up with some news. IF you are an existing customer of a product or service, the no call list does not apply to them. They CANNOT be stopped. Example; You have a Visa Card. Any affliates of the Bank can call and pester you, legally, without any fear of being busted. IF American Express calls you, and you don't already have their card, THEY'RE hardcore busted. IF everybody banned together, and got caller I.D., we'd put thousands of these ''callers'' in the unemployment line.

Well if that is true you can sue them - I think the fine is 10,000
