What anti virus protection works best with Limewire?

My friend wanted to download Limewire (might be Limewire PRO) and wanted to know what is the best product that will keep her computer without any viruses, spyware, etc. Last time she had Win MX and her computer screen turned white and then it restarted by itself. She brought it to get fixed (the guy said it had tons of viruses and spyware) and it was ok after, but her Norton Antivirus did not detect anything
