Is it safe to use a Laptop placed on tummy as I am disabled and cannot sit?

Would be grateful if anyone can advise on that as I am concerned about radiation waves as I use wireless. I usually place a thick protection under the computer, but still the concerns are pretty real.

Thanking you in anticipation of a response.

using laptop on tummy is as good as using it on a table. The radiations are minimised but it is so minimal that should not be taken into account.

The radiations, radio waves, etc, are not much affected by putting a thick protection undr the laptop as thry are minimised only when packed from all sides. Any open side will have the effect.

Nah, only thing you need to worry about is burning yourself and even with the thick protection overheating the laptop, and since you're laying down I suggest getting something like a breakfast-in-bed table :)
You can buy a keyboard that plugs into your computer. they are lightweighted and small.
You should be fine, don't worry about radiation. Radiation emitted from laptops is laughable, same with TVs and regular computers. No need to worry about it.

My only concern would be burning yourself. They get pretty toasty under there and I ended up with a very small burn on my thigh once. They have these things called ice pads or cool pads, I can't remember, but they're cooling pads you put underneath a laptop to use it.

Or better yet, get one of those tables like you see in beds and breakfasts. Those will be helpful. =)
