Would my computer be quicker if i reformatted it?matchless
yes, get rid of stuff on there you don't need, this sh1t slows down the PC big time!
Would my computer be quicker if i reformatted it?norton 2008
if you have a habit of installing trial games and progs, then yes, a format and reinstall will speed things up
Definitely reformat your computer. I recommend reformatting around once a year. Reformatting will cause your computer to not get bogged down with all the extra stuff being stored, and it will also cause your computer to last alot longer.
no but more ram might help
yes format it
That actually depends on what you intend to leave off when you reload the system. A 'recovery' disc resets everything to factory original settings.
IF you load EVERYTHING back on, it will most likely be slightly faster, but not enough to count, and that will last only until the files become fragmented again.
You would be better off to:
1. Remove any 'old' files you no longer need and/or unused applications.
