Ok well im trying to system restore my computer?

and i got to the system restore pannel and i cannot go on because my protection is down but i cant turn it on so im stuck in safe mode..What should i do?

You have to get it out of safe mode. I am not sure how to do that but when I preform a system restore you just continue with the steps and then choose a date at which to change it to. Maybe a system restore is not the problem here, maybe its your computer's protection.

turn off your protection for now go to the starting button and click all-prgrams then to accesories then to system tools and select system restore.You should restore it to a week prior.

ps,dont forget to re-boot
CTRL+ALT+DELETE keys at the same time should restart the computer, back to normal mode. If it's still having an issue, it may be with your protection program,(if it's Norton, yecccch!)
You can do system restore in safe mode. .. Just restart your computer in safe mode and when the dialogue box comes out asking whether you want to continue in safe mode or do system restore, just click on 'No'...... Even if you click 'yes', you can still click on 'Start' , then 'Accessories', then 'System Tools' and then 'System Restore'......System restore will be fast if you do disk cleanup and disk defragmentation first. It is alright if your protection is down because in safe mode viruses and spywares can't run. It is best to do system restore in safe mode. .....
