I dont know what the deal is. Half the time when I type, nothing comes up and then if I leave it be..5 minutes later, it will show up as I typed it.
Its not the keyboard. I have bought 3 new and tested them all. sometimes when i start up my computer, it gives me a bubble on my icons that says my device driver is not recognized, unknown device. I am on dial up.
what are sticky keys and toggle keys? could that have anything to do with it?
dont ask me to dust my ports. its not anything like that.
I have tried everything. I have done:
1. windows updates
2. systems restorations,
3. deleted ALL cookies,
4. downloaded new virus protection
nothing is working.
please throw at me any and all things you think might help, such as downloads.
why does it tell me to go to device manager, and when I do, it says device not recognized? HELP!

Good Day..... I think you got to install a fresh windows.....meaning, ...format your hard disk and install a new windows....you will found out that it is easier than trouble shooting ...and the more system restore you use..the more your computer will get slower.....

I think you have to clean keyboard port (where you connect keyboard) at back of computer (with power turn off and using blower, or paper clip or cotton tip with alcohol--but make sure to dry it,before using)
Go to device manager, select keyboard, uninstall the subsection of'' keyboard'' , rescan for hardware change.
PS:- I have this problem of late display of characters from keyboard if my cpu running 100% because of background scanning of antivirus or antispyware. Check task manger
